Is Sean Payton the most sought after head coaching candidate in NFL History?

This may be a silly question but I can’t recall a head coach that was AVAILABLE on the market that has attracted as much interest as Sean Payton in recent memory.
Bill Belichick would garner more interest but he isn’t AVAILABLE.

Gruden was still employed but the Raiders right? He just took another job. Payton quit, stay out a year and opened himself up to offers. I don’t remember anyone doing this before so the op may be technically correct because other established coaches didn’t just become open free agent other I recall
