Turnovers have always been my knock on Westbrook. He has always had a very mediocre assist/turnover ratio. 8 TO's is ALOT.

Russ will never win a title.

Westbrook doesn't seem to be playing much defense these days.

saying he has to overcome injury issues before we can project his ranking the next 10 years isn't hating

I thought we were going to see a chronically injured Curry for his whole career. Only time will tell if last year was the exception or the new norm.

Freaking out about those 8 turnovers is just ridiculous. The guy was unstoppable tonight. He basically put them on his back and nearly carried them to a win.

He had no help tonight. And besides that, TOs are part of his game. Along with most alpha-aggressors in the league - Lebron, Hardon, Wall, Paul George, etc.

if he cuts them in half maybe the win the game. clanked some FT's too.

with that said, they are pretty helpless when KD doesnt play. kudos to him

the guy has played around 87% of possible career regular season games. So the injury knock was always overblown.

supporters are one thing, denying his talent is another.

As stated above, The Thunder needed more offensive structure than just rolling the ball out. If Brooks had done that, maybe the Thunder would have multiple titles by now.

Yup. That critique and the passing critique are just lazy.

His TOV rate is actually spectacular for a guy with his USG and MP. There are very few guys who play 25+MPG, have an assist rate over 40% and a TO rate ~15%.

People want to knock Russ, shot selection and defense are where to look.

Maybe. They also maybe have multiple titles, regardless of system, if Westbrook, Ibaka, and Durant don't get hurt either during the playoffs or for extended parts of seasons.

and at the time of post, Steph Curry has played a total of 177 games out of 187 possible games. He missed more time that year, but if you want to talk about outliers-less than 12 months of ankle problems is the outlier.

As far as this seasons PER, it's way early and Steph will regress back down to around 30, more than likely.

Regardless, Steph Curry is playing at a higher level than Westbrook has achieved at this point in his career.

Steph will either regress or become the best player in the world -- his current PER is basically on another level from anyone else in the modern era.

He will regress.

This time last year AD had the best PER of all time as well.
