It reminds me of that year Ohio St lost to a shitty VT team at home by 2 TDs early in the season. I believe that was the same year that we got that meme of Frank Beamer raising his fists as it was 0-0 going into overtime against Wake Forest. VT kept losing so that loss kept looking worse and worse so every week fans would point at that game and ignore what Ohio St did since then which was win all their games, most of them convincingly.

Teams are allowed to improve from week 2

Again ND would have at least 4-5 losses if they played a regular SEC schedule.

Lucky for them speculation by retards on a message board is not a criteria in the playoff selection.

It also depends on who’s SEC schedule. They would have 1 loss tops with Texas or Missouri’s schedule. And the Louisville game was the end of September

Will finish 8-4 and in the top 25.

A&M is the only team with a pulse that ND plays the entire year.

Have 2 more top 25 wins than Texas and Penn State have combined and they are both ranked ahead of ND.

I'll give you PSU. Here's another congrats for beating mighty Army! ND would have at least 4 losses so far with Texas schedule (UGA, Vandy and two of OU, UF and Arkansas.

no they wouldn’t UGA sure the others they would be favored over and could beat.

Just say you hate Notre Dame and be done with it, it’s obvious you are irrational about them.

Yes they are overated every year. But this team seems a bit different. They are very good in all 3 phases. They def belong in the playoff. And again, is it their fault the teams on their schedule are not good???

They are typically overrated. But agree with others that this team looks more physical - and certainly far more physical than any team Brian Kelly put together while he was there. His ND teams were soft, and now we are seeing that at LSU.

ND does have 2 stud RBs. #4 is really impressive.

I thoroughly enjoy arguing with the ND haters on here every few years. How a school in South Bend, Indiana gets a bunch of south Louisiana baws so worked up needs to be studied by pyschologists.

Well considering they're an independent and set their own schedule, yes

Not like they have the conference pre-determining 8-9 of their opponents

they only play 8 teams from Power 4 Conferences this year.

every other Power 4 team currently in the top 15 plays at least 9, and a few play 10.
the teams playing in the conference championship games will all be adding yet another Power 4 game to their resume while ND will not.

so yeah, it kinda is their fault their schedule is weak.

Some people live for the TD Christmas lights this time of year, I live for knighting for my Irish.
