re: Is Kurt Warner a Hall of Famer?

I saw a pctg of games passing over 300 yds on MNF. Not sure how accurate it was, but hell, it was impressive. Warner had like 45% of his games passing over 300%. Dan fouts was second at 20 something %. Warner has been totally rooked IMO. He is a machine and should have been starting every game since his Rams days, somewhere. Warner is one of the very few NFL QB's I will go out of my way to watch. If he doesn't get in the the HOF, there will be many coaches with egg on their face, his stats while staggering could be doubled or more. The man is awesome. His only downside is sacks.

He basically disappeared from the NFL. He couldnt win a starting job with NYG or ARI against some shitty QB's.


He barely played, which is the only reason his QB rating has remained so high. He wasnt good enough to get on the field. And when he did, he was underwhelming

Maybe, Warner wasnt the problem....maybe those teams should have switched systems, scored tons of points, got some wins and maybe a SuperBowl appearance.....Wouldnt you tailor your system to your players? If you had a QB that is obviously capable of throwing for 300yards on a regular basis with a high degree of accuracy and has displayed good decision making and leadership skills wouldnt you want to take advantage of that?

OK!! Why was Warner so good?? Yes he is OK!! But His teams didn't do so well in the playoffs and WON the SB against a VERY young Tenn Team!! Then turned around and LOST to a VERY young Pats team in the SB were The Rams should have Blown them out!! Stats aside, He is an AVERAGE QB!!!

Its highly possible he will not be a HOF qb, but to say he is average in talent is pathetic.
