I think this season gets him in. Especially if he wins his 3rd MVP. It'd be almost impossible to deny that. And I'd imagine he'd have the record(or close) to most time in between MVPs. His career arc is certainly atypical--I'm really not sure you can accurately compare him to other historic QBs. And Les, I agree with you that he sucked for a few years. His hand was fricked up and he fumbled like 5 times a game. I used to rag on him constantly. But that's what makes his season this year all the more remarkable. And I think it cements him as a HOFer.

that still doesnt excuse those shitty years


name another HOF'er that couldnt win a starting job in the prime of their careers. OR that went through a 5 year stretch in the prime of their career where they were borderline SHITTY.
