hated his arse for lighting up the Saints for a decade, but Vick has to be it. His speed was unmatched and was pretty decent as a passer.
If he had worked harder on becoming a better passer he would have been a more athletic (faster) Steve Young.
Granted size is part of the athletic package so neither Young nor Vick have Allen's physical frame. But Vick at least was much faster than Allen

He's not #1 but he's up there, anyone saying otherwise hasn't watched him
He's fast, he's strong, his arm is fricking huge. He's a monster.

Yea other than Allen probably being a little bit faster. It's mahomes

Both are elite, but physically Allen has Mahomes beat

I don’t disagree but it’s close. The pass Mahomes made in the Super Bowl last year where his body was horizontal in the air and he flung it like 40 yards on the money says he is pretty damn gifted.

Just to prove your point, look at how good he was once he started working on being a better passer in the pocket in his Philly days. And that is after his athleticism had declined a bit due to age and being away from the game.

They are both stupid gifted
But Allen’s size is what separates him from a pure physical perspective with Mahomes

Agreed, and just overall running ability with his combo of size and speed. But like you said, they are both stupid gifted.

To highlight, Allen’s physical percentile ranks dwarf even Mahomes

Lol at that 20 yd cone shuffle score.
IWNDH (I would not draft him)
Seriously though, Allen and Mahomes are both damn impressive.

Gah, 34 inch vertical jump at his height means he can dunk with authority on the basketball court.

Michael Vick as well, obviously the size isn’t there and arm not quite as strong
Ive never heard anyone knock his arm strength. The guy was wizzing balls in to his receivers that had them complaining

I wasn’t knocking it, he had an absolute cannon. But Allen’s arm is stronger. It’s like a pitcher throwing 98 mph and another throwing 101. Both are insane, but one is better.

I said this last week.
His size, arm, speed, and body control have to make him top 3 at a min. I want to hear the other options of pure, physical talent.
Underrated on the pure talent rating scale is Michael Bishop from KSU

Mahomes has freakish body control for sure

Andrew Luck and Justin Herbert deserve an honorable mention. Both are big, strong, fast dudes with rocket arms.

Bledsoe was a statue, but he had literally every other attribute you'd want out of a QB.
I'd also say Favre is up there, except for being a dumbass every now and then.
Rodgers is also Josh Allen with a different running style.

I think Josh Allen might have him beat, but I pretty much agree with this.
