Is Gary Bettman the only commissioner in pro sports that doesn't suck?

MLB / Rob Manfred - Dumbass who is too swayed by media lies and moves an all star game unilaterally from a majority black area to a majority white area that has more restrictive voter laws
NBA / Adam Silver - Massive supporter of slave labor, has his players and those within the NBA support slave labor, and bans/silences anyone who tries to speak out against slave labor
NFL / Roger Goodell - Social justice lunatic who has turned the game into a slightly more physical flag football
NASCAR / Jim France - Has continued to alienate fans and has done nothing to try to turn the sport around from dying.
NBA / Adam Silver - Massive supporter of slave labor, has his players and those within the NBA support slave labor, and bans/silences anyone who tries to speak out against slave labor
NFL / Roger Goodell - Social justice lunatic who has turned the game into a slightly more physical flag football
NASCAR / Jim France - Has continued to alienate fans and has done nothing to try to turn the sport around from dying.

Takes a bunch of heat himself, but it actually protects the league many times. The "unite everyone by hating me" strategy. Sure, they miss on things, but every league will. There is a reason they are the top dog though.

frick Goodell but he makes a shitload of money for the Shield and owners love him as a fall guy and lightning rod for criticism. From a bottom line standpoint for the NFL he is a great commissioner. For the average fan he is terrible.

Quality of product?
Collective bargaining?
A hundred other aspects in operating a business.
Yeah i get that "businesses make money". But that isnt the only thing to judge it by. To act as if a commissioner isnt in part a steward of the game would be incorrect.

Pro sports have sold out to advertisers, and now cater to them instead of fans. The companies that advertise are afraid of the cancel culture we have now with social media and everything. And that is how we arrived where we are now, with a vocal minority calling the shots. What the decision makers fail to realize is that this vocal minority will never be happy-they are literally looking for things to complain about and inventing issues where there are none. trying to satisfy this mob is an impossible task and isolating your fan base will not end well. Might take a generation to die out but people dont watch sports for a political lesson.
