That doctor he farted on probably didn't send him a Christmas card.

Hard to feel a dude that already made 70 million and pissed away another 50 by his own actions.

This isn't a Delonte West situation where he is gravely disabled and incapable of coherent thought. West never lashed out or tried to hurt anyone.

Brown, on the other hand, is a giant a-hole who doesn't give 2 shits about anyone besides himself. He spits in the face of everyone around him, especially the people are looking out for his best interests. He has never uttered a word of remorse for his actions. That's a product of stupidity and pride, not psychiatric illness.

I just hope he doesn’t kill someone else before he’s either locked up or dead.

Okay, doctor.

There are different levels and types of mental issues. Just because he isn't drug addicted and homeless doesn't mean he isn't screwed up in the head.

It's not an excuse of his behavior. The responsibility is on him to manage his issues. I'm not losing sleep over it or anything, but it is sad to see that it has become more of a 'lol, what will he frick up next?" as opposed to a "Damn, that dude really needs help."

But that's just kinda how society works, so I get it.

I mean he fricked a teammate's mom. That's clearly demonstrating questionable decision making at the least.

Besides, there are degrees of mental illness. It's not either your fine or you belong in the padded room.

Do you not think that jerks can also have mental illness? It's only nice guys?

Actually the moment I was convinced he has some sort of depressive disorder is when he said a few weeks back that (paraphrasing here) he thinks he's nothing without football. That's clearly someone lacking in self-esteem, despite his frequent outward displays of arrogance. So borderline, bipolar, narcissistic personality disorder, he's got something, or maybe a vile mixture of all of them.

This might be tougher to swallow if he was a likeable guy on the field, but I never got that vibe. It’s not like we saw a model citizen go full heel.

He’s a frickup. Mental illness does not equate to him screwing over people in the service industry and sexually harassing women.

I keep seeing this repeated as if only nice guys can have mental illness.

Jackasses can also have mental illness.

90% of the board says he's mentally ill.

90% of the board doesn't feel sorry for him.

if anything, he's a psychopath.

He doesn't flip back and forth with his behavior, he's stuck on dickhead mode and has been for a long time apparently.

He’s not saying that at all. He’s actually saying the opposite.

Antonio Brown is an a-hole who is likely mentally ill. If he were a nice guy with the same mental illness, we’d have sympathy for him, but he’s not. He’s an entitled a-hole who has screwed over nearly everyone he has had any type of relationship with. For years.

Yes. He is exhibiting symptoms of CTE. He's played football since he was ten. He has CTE.

Maybe he does. Maybe he has some other legit medical condition.

Or maybe he’s just an arrogant, narcissistic jackass and has been this whole time. See: Ryan Clark predicting AB would become a “monster” once he got his first big contract

Could be a combination of both. Who knows. I’m all for furthering medical research and doing everything we can to help current/former players. But we can’t just jump to the conclusion that it’s CTE every time a player does something stupid. Sometimes people are just shitty people

Exactly. I assume he has the beginnings of CTE. But the shite he has done that has surfaced goes back a ways. It’s highly likely he screwed over people and took advantage of people prior to his playing a down in the NFL.
