I was at that game - Miami has some insane number of future NFLers on that team.
Louisiana Tech pushed a few of their players to the NFL as well.
Miami’s speed on defense that year is still the fastest team defensive speed I have ever seen in person on the college level.

I'm surprised they averaged nearly 53k in attendance per home game this season, though I'm sure that's tickets sold rather than butts in seats.

This should have the best atmosphere so far amongst the G5-level bowls. Beautiful weather.
