Seems more like a product of increased coverage of Women’s CBB. She lead Iowa to back to back championship games and set the all time WBB scoring record with some (laughably) arguing she set the all time CBB record over Maravich. That’s stupid but still got headlines. The #2 scorer set the record in 2017 and was alsothe first pick, I never heard of her

Oh, that's right. I keep forgetting, to the Cait Cult it doesn't matter what she actually does on the court.

That’s for clarifying that it is retard

3 games I bet SGA or Joker has a 3 game stretch especially if they were injured with poor shooting, it happens

Teams and coaches don’t devise defensive strategies the way they do for Clark the same way they would for average at best players.
Teams devise gameplans for the opponent who they most need to guard.
Queen Cait is 4th in the league in FG attempts per game.
Nobody is going to devise a gameplan for someone who never gets the ball.

I’m assuming you know who she is

The reason I heard of Clark and not Kelsey Plum was because LSU won the NC in 2023 so i watched a bit the elite eight and final four and Iowa made the finals

Who is Chef Curry? Is he the Indian Boyardee? What did he say about black dykes?

For starters there’s no context, but I assume you mean this season. 9 games is not large enough of a sample size to matter. A quick google search tells me Clarke was 1st team all WNBA last year 4th in MVP and ROY. Typically that’s someone better than 54th in the league or an “average” player

ETA: looks like she was the league in 3 pointers and assists last year, 7 in ppg. Doesn’t sound avg to me.

Again, if you watched the games you'd know the difference.

Last year she played on a bad team and was the spotlight of that team. She was set up to be the leader.

This year, the team was completely revamped with some of the better players in the league. She isn't even the best guard on her own team much less the league.

Her team is playing much better without her than with her. They just beat the best team in the league by 15 points. In her last game they lost to an expansion team.

She's an average WNBA player. The players voted her 9th best guard in the league. That's probably accurate.

Sky finished 13-27 and missed playoffs

Your premise of why Clark is popular is correct, but the ironic part is your side and your “team” created the environment for it it to happen
Just curious as to what exactly you perceive my side and my "team" to be?

The Commissioner's Cup victory was the team's eighth game without Clark this season. They went 2-3 without her while she was out with a quad strain, but managed a 2-1 record since her groin injury. The Fever are 4-4 without Clark, this season.

In games she has played, Clark has an average plus-minus of 5.3, suggesting the Fever are several points better with her on the floor. But that did not change the narrative on Tuesday.
