Having the World Cup in the USA & watching the WNBA implode from within are the only things that have gotten me through the summer.

Jesus, what a shitshow of a league… her own teams page is 99% negative comments about her statement.

The drama is a better product than the competition

Man, that league is full of drama

They are trying to get some of those women who watch the Kardashians and Real House Wives to watch and the only way is to have women just beat the crap out if each other and tear each other down verbally to make it happen.

Like I said, ESPN is all in on the WNBA right now and its fitting bc they do live broadcasts from WWE events...

Create a league that nobody wants, fully subsidize it since it could never generate revenue of its own, then give a bunch of women jobs and a platform to spew their irrelevant thoughts from. What did they think would happen?

So she did not see the multiple replays that they showed in the arena while the refs were reviewing the play.

Let's say that is possible, the first part of her speech is fine, 2nd part not so much.

Or the foul in real time? Multiple photos/videos out there showing her staring at the play in the background.

She's full of shite and getting all the hate she deserves.

It's bc people who said they don't care about the wnba cared about her reaction or downplaying to carrington's foul on Cunningham
Man, y’all can keep acting like we like women’s basketball. It’s weird as hell, but go for it.

I don’t know why you feel the need to kind of belittle us for liking women’s basketball to make yourself feel better. One because we don’t like it and it’s weird to need us to. And two because it’s pathetic to want to down someone to make yourself feel better, especially with something this easy to grasp.

"If you don't like womyns basketball then don't watch!"

Most folks don't like multi car pile ups either, but by gosh they're gonna slow down and have a look.

A smart commissioner would fully lean in to this. Market some players as faces and some as heels.
