Aaaaaand he had ridiculous skill players

Sure did! Good times...

But the next thread will be about how overrated Emmitt was because he had a good line. Or Irvin because teams had to shut down the run, or whatever...

I don't care. Dallas kicked arse in the early-mid 90s, and it was glorious!!

I have seen him ranked ahead of guys like Moon, Warner, Fouts Bledsoe Cunningham etc so yeah he is very overrated

Moon and Fours don't get enough love. They were both unbelievable.

But I take Troy over the others in this list, especially after you discount their careers if they had good skill guys around them, too.

Bradshaw is a two time Super Bowl MVP not overrated. There is not another able that wins 4 Super Bowls during his time other than roger

I'll toss out some names I haven't seen mentioned or mentioned very much.

Stabler, Pastorini, & Kelly. I would put Pastorini & Kelly in the discussion. Stabler, I'm not so sure of.

Your head is gone mate. Aikman is top 5 and it's not even close. Hated the Cowboys growing up but one of the single best game managers and pure passers the league has seen

Game manager? Hairspray head telling him when to hand off to Smith or throw the slant to Irvin?

Kelly doesn't belong in the discussion for the same reason as Flutie-- he had a few of his prime years playing in another professional league, where he won an MVP award and was named the greatest QB in the league's brief tenure-- and holds several records including the career passing TD record there, despite having played in only 2 of the 3 seasons.

Four straight SB appearances don't hurt either.

Most Overrated QB:

1. Eli Manning. Yes..he has 2 SB rings thanks to an outstanding defense and a couple of great catches by receivers in the SB. I think Eli is a good QB but certainly not on the level as Peyton who only has 1 SB ring.

2. Terry Bradshaw. Yes..Pittsburgh won 4 SB during the late 70's and 80's but TB doesn't do shite without the Steel Curtain. Put Archie Manning on the Steelers team and AM now has 3 or 4 rings. Bradshaw only threw for about 25K yards and had Stallworth and Swan making acrobatic catches to save his arse.

3. Mike Vick. This guy gets more bytes than anyone else. Vick hasn't won anything and his better days are behind him.

4. Tim Tebow. Broncos and the Jets. Enough said. Can't beat out Mark Sanchez. WTF ?

Aikman was good at football, but he is hands down the worst color analyst on the face of the earth
