Is it a one man game or a 53 man game?

And only one quarterback has more wins than Dak does since he came into the league.

He is a fringe top 10 QB and could prove me wrong, but this is insane and I am astounded at the support he has on social media and within the media here in Dallas.

You aren’t wrong. He’s not a bad qb, but they aren’t going to win it all with him either.

JERRY KNOWS THIS, IT'S WHY HE HASN'T SIGNED HIM TO A BIG DEAL YET

The Cowboys should let Dak walk and see if they can trade for a proven winner like Tannehill or Blake Bortles

Exactly. The alternative is something like Fitzmagic or Tyrod Taylor.

Drew Lock is the kind that have a quick release and just could not have an all around 4 and 5 stars players at Missouri. Denver knew what they were doing and got him before anyone else could get him in the second round.Denver even moved up in the second round to get him. He had a lot of offseason training that paid off big time. Denver got the best deal for a starter at the quarterback position. That helped Denver to spend money on other position of need. For some reason Dallas just could not get the right key players to balance the offense and the defense to compete at the top year in and year out. Just plain suck at picking the right players to help them win a SB in this generation.

It’s only going to be a 4 or 5 year deal. They aren’t going to be locked in for a decade. The Zeke contract could be a bigger problem.

No one knows what kind of lingering affects Covid will have on the NFL 2-3 years down the road. However, a new TV deal combined with other upcoming QB contracts could make Dak’s contract seem like a bargain by the time it expires.

Dak has more than proven himself since he's been here. The deal would only be temporary because Mahomes and Jackson will be way more.

Is Jerry Jones still signing the check? Yes? Then we’ll overpay.

Jerry needs to adopt the philosophy of paying players instead of paying positions. Dak isn’t worth anywhere near what he wants. He’s an average QB who’s gonna set the Cowboys back a half decade if Jerry gives in.

I know the cowboys are hated here, but as a lifelong fan I am genuinely concerned that I can pretty much write off any chance of winning shite or even making the postseason for the next 5-6 years.

The Eagles filled a hospital wing by themselves last year, and y'all still couldn't win the division against them. They won't be that unlucky again and they're getting younger. Also, Washington/NYG can really only improve. The next few years will be tough for Dallas.

That would be the worst move the Cowboys ever made. No team should be basically held at ransom by a qb who’s not great at all. I’ll give him pretty good at times but come on.
