I'm sure it helps to have that laugh, especially after a game like Week 1 where a team with a budget $50 Million less than you and less 4 & 5 stars runs away with the game.

Ehhh... I get where they are coming from when they vent. He apparently runs the offense and refuses to give up play calling. Which would be fine if he didn't have flashbacks to his ECU days and losing to Russell Wilson and NC State every time he gets a lead as an underdog and just goes into turtle mode. Before that game Skip and ECU were headhunters, after that game he has not been the same. I also see the point that he has built something up in Ruston, they're a consistent winner, but don't have the big win to take the next step, and at this point in his career I don't know if Skip has the cajones to give it to them. Looking at their schedule they play NC State next month, may be the perfect opportunity for Skip to exorcise those demons and all the points are moot. Skips programs actually knocking off some of these schools he hangs with would put Ruston in the New Years discussion more often than not. Louisiana needs that second tier team to stand up and start helping keep some of these 3* kids a second in state choice when LSU fills their class. It sucks seeing these kids go play for the lower tier P5 where they can't make a name for themselves.
