Probably better off NOT joining the PGA tour if you're instantly the best in the world. Keep your anonymity, show up to random clubs and hustle the members on a daily basis

Best in the world? Im picking pitcher in baseball but only if part of the deal is my shoulder isnt gonna fall apart for 5 years.

You can show up and get a high school coach to watch you throw and he'll know someone and then when they see you throwing 103 on the gun with skenes movement on ur pitches you would be on an MLB hill faster than you think if u truly woke up as a 35 year old with the best stuff in the world.

Golf or MMA. Maybe baseball, but I find it hard to believe that anybody could wake up better than THE JUDGE.

Play golf for 10 years and get some sponsorship for more money and then retire.

Don’t want a totally destroyed body from football for sure.

Didn't this basically happen and a Disney movie was made about it with Dennis Quaid?

High stakes golf matches can easily be $100k+ per hole. Hustle locals to build up your bankroll and challenge degen golf pros. You know how much a rando would make challenging someone like Mickelson to a match and giving him shots? He’d wager millions on a single match and lose

As long as you do it anonymously, you’d have virtual infinite income potential for the rest of your life. If people know how good you are, e.g. from watching you on tv, you’ll never get action off the tour

And no bs dealing with being a public figure

Actually we've all forgotten about the very easy route of just walking on at a major college then go pro. If you're the best in the world and you haven't played collegiate before that should be doable in like a week.

If I could throw a 100 mph fastball with movement I bet I could get noticed.

But golf all day.

Until you went viral and everyone wanted to know who you were

I’d want to be the best at chess and then get into the rooms of real power like Kasparov

Essentially, this is the “choose the easiest and safest sports path to make tons of money” thread.

Show up at a JUCO.

Wreck shop, transfer to a P5, get drafted.

Would also work for baseball or basketball.
