They had that one story from the insider, who said that supposedly Percy Harvin and Gonzales got into a physical altercation, and Meyer took no action. However, Gonzales did stick around a year after Harvin left.
So they had some major problems inside the locker room if what this guy was saying was true, but that was the only instance where Gonzales was mentioned.
Gonzales had played under Meyer at Colorado State, and had coached alongside him at most of his previous stops... I did find it interesting he made what was essentially a lateral move in conference in leaving for the same position at LSU.

CUM was definitely having personal issues with his marriage, not sure if BG's wife was involved.

Yeah I know Billy Gonzales must have enjoyed the 2010 win in Gainesville. Meyer's press conference afterward was priceless.

This thread reminds me of the rumors about Barry Switzer sleeping with the wife of one of his coordinators. And the coordinator being ok with that.
Clearly, they don't make coordinators like they used to.
I also recall that Cornell fired their head coach for having an affair with the wife of one of his assistants. Poor shlub was told to supervise drills while the head coach drilled his wife.
