Go with Davis.

Harden is en elite scorer, not an elite player.

Easy question if you included what they are making-

Harden is owed $78.6 million, Davis is owed $11 million. No one in their right mind would trade Davis for Harden straight up.

James Harden is better. Harden has a .611 true shooting %, which is awesome for a guard. Davis' is only .550 for a big man.

Davis is good, but Harden is better, and Harden is young too, so he will only be getting better just like Davis.

26.4 ppg, 6 assists, 2 steals, 5 rebounds isn't an elite player?

So basically only the Pistons who still had a solid group of big men.

to be fair, sheed was either elite or right there, and wallace was elite on defense

Davis is a rookie who just turned 20 and has a slender build. I imagine you haven't seen him play much and you're just talking out of your arse. Harden is a great player and will be elite for a while but I'm taking the elite big man, which Davis will be, over the elite guard. Not a slight to Harden at all, just what I think is more valuable.

I the final seconds of games, elite guards can create their own shot, big men have to have theirs created for them.

He's a Hornet/Pelican for at least 6 years I believe. We'll see what happens after.

AD and its not close. harden is a nice player but will never sniff top 10 elite.

I'm sure people have already jumped all over this but I'll join in. Harden is close to a top five NBA player already.

Harden, no doubt. Davis will never be a top 10 player, Harden already is one.

You must have a time machine or something...

Davis has a nice jumper, good handles, developing post moves, and is already a good defender (will be elite). He's going to effect games on offense and defense. In my opinion, he's going to put up Kevin Garnett numbers with better defense. He's having a better rookie season at practically the same age.

Basically, the question is if you can have one of these players be your franchise guy, who would you choose? I choose Davis because great guards are a whole lot easier to come by than great big men.
