I don't think Florida overlooked them. I just don't think Florida is that good. Everyone lost their minds because Florida/Napier got on a two game heater to upset LSU and Ole Miss at home last year and completely ignored the fact that outside of those two games he was 15-17 in three seasons and struggled to be anyone, inside and outside, the SEC with a pulse.
Those two wins were the anomaly, not the coming norm. It showed up Saturday against a solid USF team, which now sets up the biggest game in the history of the CW. Come for the Gilmore Girls reruns. Stay for the battle of South Florida!

11-1 Tulane and 11-1 USF in the AC championship game would be epic.
