If the NBA was smart they'd create a bronze medal series for Lakers & Celtics.

I'm actually going to watch these Finals. Had no interest in watching Lakers/Celtics.

The Lakers already have a fake championship with the 2020 bubble ring. They don't need another.

I want to see the best (hopefully) 7 game series possible. I don't care if its the Hornets and Kings playing each other.

Nuggets/Heat is a much more interesting series. We get to watch teams that play great team basketball instead of watching Tatum n Jaylen Brown take turns trying to play hero ball.

Nuggets are great at finding defensive mismatches and attacking them, the Heat have multiple starters that can guard every position and no real defensive weaknesses except Kevin Love.

Maybe a bronze medal game. Nobody is a whole 7 game series for 3rd place.

NFL had a Third Place Game for a decade, and they ended it because the players and coaches hated it.

I can understand it ratings wise but if you want to see the two best teams this series is a must see. But it won’t take that long anyway. I love miamis toughness but the nuggets in 6. Maybe 5.

Horrible idea but since the Lakers and Celtics were the disappointments like they were this year, it’s highly possible that shyt could be put in place for next season. Especially since it’s two smaller markets in the finals.
