If the Cowboys end up with the top draft pick, smart money says trade down, right?

Obviously they won't draft Lawrence, after putting so much into Dakota.

Could trade it for OL and/or LB help?

Not a Cowboys fan, but not a hater...fwiw.

They wont end up with the top draft pick, so why are you even asking this?

Cowboys would be better off moving to Little Rock. Would be a much smaller, but better fan base. I have no idea about how they are gonna draft, maybe they can grab a fullback with their first pick

Prescott was on a 1 year franchise tag deal but Dallas is not getting the top pick, they already have 3 wins the Jets are not winning 3 of the last 6

Do you think the Jets are about to win 4-5 games in a row?

Wut?

I don't see how or why you say that but why would that mean you can't draft another QB?

Cowboys should absolutely consider drafting a QB. A QB on a rookie contract puts 30 mil elsewhere to invest.

They have a top 10 RB
They have a top 10 OL when healthy
They have a top 3 WR group

The team is built around supporting any competent QB

Cowboys will win at least one more game and I doubt the Jets or Jags win another one.....

Idk how true this is anymore. If it is it isn’t that impressive bc RBs are everywhere

This is definitely not true

a) how is this not true b) why would you single this out and not the top 3 WR group comment

They’ve been living off their reputation for years now. It’s not a good Oline despite have two all pros

Because I didn’t disagree with that comment? Seems pretty obvious

They should draft another WR named Roy Williams

PFF isn’t the end all be all, but:

4. Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys have been near the top of this conversation for years. This season was another impressive display for the group, finishing fifth in PFF pass-blocking grade and third in run-blocking grade.

For 2019

Take Lawrence and let Dak walk. Dakota only beats sub .500 teams anyways.

How are you rating an OL then? In 2019 they were #5 in rushing yards #4 in Y/A, 2 in fewest sacks what metric puts then outside the top 10

thanks for the clarification Capt Obvious seems like a lot more specious argument than the other 2, especially if you are going to say Elliot is not top 10. Now if you want to argue having a top 10 RB is irrelevant or maybe even a hindrance but he's been a top 5 RB over the last couple of years

Can you explain specifically what details of that team build would then make a guy like Trevor Lawrence unable to perform specifically due to how the team was built for Dak?
