But does Iowa stop OSU enough? They gave up like 60 points to them last year (some was because Iowa’s offense was so bad)
how many stops would Iowa even need to get? They forced a punt and 4 FGs in the first quarter so the were capable of slowing OSU down a bit
Iowa's offense went
INT
Fumble
Punt
Turnover on downs
FG
Punt
pick 6

Mahomes would get killed on most bad teams

Does he keep all the maturity and experience he's accumulated in the NFL? That would be insane.

This isn't basketball, 1 lone superstar can't just lead a group of bums to a championship.

I’d say they give up 35 points give or take. 0 part of me believes that Iowa’s defense is better than Georgia’s and UGA gets shredded every year by Bama/LSU/or OSU. Does Mahomes drag that offense to 2 to 3 consecutive shootout wins at the end of the year?

Does he get to bring Andy Reid and Travis Kelce?

While Cam was amazing, don't forget Auburn had a five-star RB and two all-SEC offensive lineman blocking for him.
Auburn also had Nick Fairley wrecking shop on the other side of the ball.
Auburn was an 8-9 win team without Cam in 2010.

MVP-level Mahomes is significantly better than college cam
The baseline is Cam Newton, Auburn was 8-5 before and after Cam.

Hell they weren’t terribly far from being an 8 or 9 win team with him

Week 2: 17-14 @Mississippi State
Week 3: OT win hosting Clemson
Week 4: 35-27 hosting South Carolina
Week 6: 38-35 @Kentucky
Week 8: 21-14 hosting LSU
Week 13: The CamBack

he couldn't win one with Texas Tech....
He wouldn't win one unless he was with a traditional power.

I agree with everything you said.
I don't agree the 2010 Auburn team was a bunch of bums despite Cam.

he admitted to not knowing how to find the mike at Tech. Might have improved a little bit since then

im sure he has, but not like his stats were off the charts at tech and still couldnt come close to even winning to conference.
come on man.
come on man.

Oddly, his NFL stats aren't that much different than his tech ones. Obviously, there are more games but fewer plays per game.
last year 41/12 td/int 67% 5250 yards 8.1 yards per attempt
last year at tech 41/10 8.5 yards per attempt. 5052 yards 65.7%
he has admitted to not being able to read defenses when he was in college. It is safe to say he would be much better now after reading much more complex NFL systems.

We already had a shootout involving him
Patrick Mahomes and Baker Mayfield were part of a record-setting college football game between Texas Tech and Oklahoma on Oct. 22, 2016.
Teams combined for the most total yards (1,708) ever in a Big 12 conference game. The 78 first downs tied an NCAA record.
Mahomes and Mayfield also set an FBS record for passing yards by two opposing players in the same game (1,279) and most yards gained by two opposing players in one game (1,383).
OU won 66-59. QB stats:
Baker 27-36-545 and 7 TD to 0 INT
Patrick 52-88-734 and 5 TD to 1 INT
TTU finished year 5-7
OU finished year 11-2

Mahomes has an insane arm, but isn't an athletic freak a la Cam Newton. I'm not sure how much the ability to hit pin point medium and deep passes helps you in a lot of basic, lack of talent offenses.
