LOL. Failing at its finest.

I actually like Kobe.

You think when I bring up bad games about Kobe I'm tearing him down, but that's because you can't look at this thread objectively.

If you could, you would have seen where I'm actually not even comparing Lebron/Kobe per se, but I'm comparing the Lebron haters reactions to bad games from Lebron and saying Kobe would NEVER do such things.

So funny when you say I'm anti-Kobe. Classic stuff.

I have no dog for either one. I'm a Hornets fan. But I see all these delusional posts on here, and I'm gonna "support" Lebron from the ridiculous stuff people keep saying.

My entire basis isn't even against Kobe, it's against you delusional Lebron haters. Just be unbiased, just ONCE.

troof

I let these guys I work with who are really not huge fans of either read these arguments sometimes. Living in our region they are huge Kevin Durant fans and for some reason we have a lot of Houston Rockets fans as well. Anyway, they point out a few retards on here like Knight and lately that Cashmoneyhomey douche. It's very funny how one sided their arguments are, then they have the balls to call the Lebron fans biased. Outside observers agree that we have some fricking retarded posters on this site. It basically comes from blind hate(for God knows why, you'd really think Lebron either raped them or their cocksucking girlfriends)...but regardless, it makes for Good lolz. And I'd say these guys are very informed and unbiased sports fans. They only have to read a few of these tards posts to understand their arguments are based off of complete fricking stupidity. Especially the "Kobe scored 81" bullshite I saw earlier in this thread.

frick, you read my mind with this. The "Kobe scored 81" was definitely some of the best work in this thread, LOL.

And the "blind hate" thing, I've been using that exact term on here for quite some time. That's basically what it boils down to.

Oh, and I swear I didn't mean to bump this thread, but I was reading the last couple of pages and saw my name specifically called out, so I had to respond.

Yes. We all can't be perfect like you apparently.

I said your posts seemed anti-Kobe, which I didn't know the history behind. I admitted my mistake.

I'm not a Lebron hater, and I 'm not a Kobe lover. I like good basketball, period (and the Hornets).

You're right, I missed your point, but you missed mine as well. It's not about Kobe vs. Lebron (it's easy to get drawn into the argument). My entire point is that we won't be having this discussion when and if Lebron wins. If Lebron won next year with the Heat, no one is going to say "Well, he had Wade and Riley." No one is going to make those arguments like they do against Kobe. Everyone is waiting in anticipation to anoint him, when there's awesome basketball and awesome players right now.

It's the same thing the Lebron lovers say against Magic, Jordan, Bird and everyone else. "But they had awesome players and awesome coaches!!! Lebron doesn't have that!" No one is going to say it about Lebron. I'll put money on it.

the thing that's pissing me off most about these dipshit Lebron haters is this misconception that he "chokes" when it counts. He was clearly not even close to being one hunned in this last series and he's always kept his team in contention during the playoffs, and once singlehandedly put his guys on his shoulders and carried them to a finals. He plays fricking hard. He does all he can do and still tries to trust in his teammates. No matter what he does though, he gets criticized. Eventually this guy will get his rings, I have no question in that. I hope it's with C-town but regardless, he's gonna get his. He is by far more important to his team than any player in the league right now.

With it, comes a lot of responsibilities to live up to and he's gonna take a brunt of the blame regardless. What gets me is the so called "intelligent" fans on this site say some ignorant shite because he had a terrible playoff appearance(but still went up 2-1 over a Boston team that's currently making Orlando their bitch), clearly playing hurt and not himself. Then they disregard his greatness that rang through several times over the past 5 years or so. All I know, is you fricks(if you happen to be a true NBA fan of a certain franchise, would be a complete fricking idiot to not want him on your team. The guy has 7-9 years left of domination. He will get his. He will end his career and at that time the Kobe argument will be so irrelevant. At this point they are way different players and Bronco is THE MOTOR and heart and soul of any team he lands on.
As bad as you don't want to admit it, you look fricking stupid if you can't admit he's THE BEST current player in the NBA. Period.

But no rings, so either his greatness isn't that great or his several isn't that many.

But he's not currently playing.

Are you insane? They absolutely will. And it will be at a level exponentially higher than you might have heard about Kobe. Haters will hate. That is who they are, that is what they do. No amount of rings would ever stop that, they would just have to adjust their argument.

The 2008 Pistons were a 62 win team and were much better because Dale Davis and Chris Webber retired and they picked up Rasheed Wallace, Arron Afflalo, and Theo Ratliff.

They say that about Wilt. They say it about Dr. J. I see no reason why they won't say it about LeBron (if he wins a title).

You must read the first 4-5 pages where my man states that the Detroit Pistons were much better the year that the Celtics beat them than the year before when the Cavs beat them to go to the finals. There, you will find gold.

unknownknight looks like a complete idiot in this thread, not surprisingly. Can't wait until we get the input of KlarkKent, Gamecock, Texanpete and the others.
