He's already been penalized once this year for the same rule violation. What happens when someone signs an illegal scorecard? He's supposed to be the greatest golfer ever and he thinks he can just drop the ball wherever he wants to?

what happens when the rules committee tells you something is ok and changes their mind?

Which is why he said what he said in the interview. He thought they ruled on it and he was in the clear.

These TV Nazis have called in penalties multiple times.
It's ridiculous that people actually take the time to call in penalties on players they watch on TV. Probably the same people that bitch about how new technology is ruining sports too

Only problem is that Toms wouldn't even be on TV. ESPN has had Tiger (or the kid) on the front page all week, and you have to look at the fine print to see he's in 19th.

No shite Sherlock. The masters reviewed it while he was still playing his second round and deemed it a legal drop. They don't wait around for golfers to ask them to review shite. Turn the fricking tv on.

LSU fans would declare for him to be banned from Tiger Stadium FORRREEEEVVVER

THIS.
ESPN's coverage is Tiger's shot, 5 replays of Tiger's shot, discussion about Tiger's shot, and then Tiger's next shot.

But seriously, who brings more attention to golf? The only people who are worrying about Tom's are LSU fans [for the most part]

According to the rule book in this situation, a 2 stroke penalty

Toms, and any other player, would have been DQ'd as Tiger should have been. He signed an incorrect scorescard and should be DQ'd. He's been playing golf long enough to know the rules.
Of course Tiger is not going to be DQ'd.

That's exactly what rules officials do, they wait around for golfers to ask them to review shite. Turn your tv off and go get some air

The worst thing is that the rule was applied correctly about him signing the incorrect scorecard.
Unfortunately, it's Tiger Woods it happened to, so it's gone completely nuts
