I may be wrong, since it was so long ago, but I think it was rescheduled due to a hurricane.

That is correct. Hurricane Georges.

Why in the world was UCLA playing AT Miami in the last week of the season anyway?

The game was originally scheduled for early September but was postponed due to a hurricane. UCLA probably wins if the game is played as originally scheduled.

AAC gets a huge financial windfall if cincy makes the CFP.

The only way Houston wins is huge. Refs won’t let it be close.

Then why did the refs let WVU lose in 2007? Why did the refs let Okie state lose in 2011?

You left out 2007 Missouri as well. Still can't believe the things that happened that year for LSU to win it all.

2007 missouri lost to a much better team that they had already lost to earlier in the year. that loss wasn't devastating, it was beyond expected

A loss keeping you out of the national championship isn't devastating?

On par with 2001 Tennessee. Lulu got roughed up something fierce that night.
