If you penalize fsu for no Travis than shouldn’t you penalize Texas for game ewers had to miss?

When you have to revert to the 'better loss' argument, you've already loss the argument.

We haven’t done shite The committee has. They have Oregon 3 spots ahead of bama. Is what it is

The truth is bamas eye test has been bad this year. It’s clear that is what the committee is choosing to value

Absolutely no way to even debate it(Oregon and Texas also win in this scenario). There’s no reason for it NOW. But, Both 12-1 conference champs. Alabama would have the best W of the 2. Alabama would have the better loss(playoff Texas vs overrated Washington). Alabama would have wins over 5, 11, 13, 21 Oregon would have wins over ~8 and 20 Alabama would have the harder SOS. What am I missing?

We should all be Louisville fans this weekend.

There really isn’t a reason to believe Bama will beat UGA. Bama fans should just wait for the unexpected to happen before complaining and crying about it.

Committee loves Oregon...have all year...Committee hasn't budged Alabama all year. Everyone in the Top 8 has moved up at one point. Not Alabama. They're 2008 USC.

I think you’re forgetting about Bo “check down” Nix’s “high completion percentage”.

I wouldn’t put alot of faith in that committee.

Oregon’s only loss was a last minute FG on the road to a team that went 12-0. Bama’s loss was at home by 2 scores to a Texas team that got beat by OU

Oregon didn’t need a last minute hail mary to avoid being upset by a team that only won 6 games all year

Oregon is 3 spots ahead of Bama and the Ducks play the #3 ranked team this weekend

You Bama fans are delusional to think you’re leapfrog Oregon or Texas if they both win

Bama lost by double digits at home, while UO lost by 3 on the road both to one loss teams in your scenario.

Not sure how you are claiming Bama’s is better.

You Bama fans are psychotic with your flip flopping on what should be the metric.

No, that would be you idiots.

We’re over here debating losses to top 6 teams. You’re telling me the loss to Washington is much better and a big component to why Oregon is ranked ahead of Alabama.

I’m going to guess you didn’t give 1 frick about Oklahoma’s State’s loss to a 5-6 team to end the regular season in 2011. Where was your energy discussing losses then?

It was nowhere to be found, because you and the rest of the folks in here massive hypocrites.

Saying Bama has the better loss while also having Oregon beating the only team that beat them in a game that matters more is whats wrong with your premise.

Everyone that has beaten the #1 team in the committees rankings has either moved to #1 or moved up 4 spots. All of those teams made the playoffs except 2017 Auburn who would have been a lock with 2 losses had they not lost the 2017 SEC championship game.

Alabama is #8. Move them up 4 spots and they're #4 A #1 has never lost and remained ahead of the team that beat them for the few delusional people that think Georgia could lose and stay ahead of Alabama. An undefeated Georgia lost in November to a 2 loss Auburn in 2017 and fell behind them.

Alabama is ranked where they are because they have a Texas sized boat anchor around their necks. If Texas wins by a million like they should this week, Bama wins, and Oregon wins close the committee is going to have re-evaluate everything. Before you put too much stock into current rankings remember the 2014 cluster frick when Ohio State won 59-0 then the committee just decided to slot them at 4 and drop TCU from 3 to 6 because they finally decided h2h vs Baylor mattered.

Anyone who thinks it's set in stone what happens if Alabama, Oregon, and Texas all win is kidding themselves.

If Alabama wins the committee is going to be sweating bullets during the ACC game hoping Louisville just makes it easy on them.
