Visited Kentucky's practice today and he looks awful. Was diagnosed with Alzheimers in 2017. I didn't even realize it was him.

Now I have to go watch that video of the smoke shop owner stabbing the guy trying to rob him...again...to brighten my mood.

I rank this up there with threads about putting your 18 year old family pet to sleep.

Oh my, wouldn't have known that was him without your comment. That's a shame. Always liked him. Best of luck to him.

Alzheimers is like going to a funeral every day. Hard on the victim and terrible for the family.

Man, he’s only 71 there. That’s no bueno. Why did he leave UK after the 7-5 season in 02? No way Baylor was a better job at the time

He’s a Texan, plus I think that he knew that the next few years at UK we’re going to be tough because of the impact of the lost scholarships from the violations that happened under Hal Mumme.

We were still dealing with NCAA blowback (the reason for no bowl game for that 7 win season) and he was from Texas. I believe Baylor also opened the checkbook for more too.

als, and parkinsons are f'ing horrible diseases

and are just heart breaking to watch happen, especially to a family member.

The hardest, gut wrenching day, is when that loved one you spent majority of your life with, wakes up one day and doesn't know who you are anymore.

This is why I strongly and wholeheartedly agree with euthanasia.

My aunt had this and I completely agree with your statement. Her complete loss of dignity was crushing on everybody who loved her.

Ditto.

Awful for any family member to ensure, but it absolutely tore my grandfather apart watching her go downhill and ultimately forget who he was.

He said it was like losing her every day for over half a decade until she finally passed.
