I like Lebron, but he destroyed loyalty in the NBA.

I’ll give him credit for going home but the genie was out of the bottle after tDecision. There’s literally no loyalty in this sport anymore and the players are just p***ies at this point.

That example is a good one but let’s be honest, the tide turned with Lebron.

So you’re gonna blame what 20 guys are doing because one guy had the idea to do it first?

Nah man. The followers are the weak ones.

It’s not about loyalty or money. It’s about championships. Players have to go where they think they have the best shot to win. The nba created this. As much as I dislike lebron, this isn’t his fault.

There are free agents in all sports, but you don’t see this many superstars jumping ship in other sports. Basketball is getting ridiculous.

Perhaps the salary cap structure in other sports don’t allow such flexibility.

Didn't Kareem force a trade to the Lakers in the 70s?

Where was the loyalty then?

you sound like a p***y at this point. It's business. Players don't owe anything past their contracts.

Also, teams have never been loyal to players so maybe the players are just following suit and realizing they don't owe loyalty to someone who would put the team needs first over the player 10 times out of 10.

Of course he doesn’t “owe” anything. I think we can all agree it would have been nice for the possible best player of all time to not have to resort to making a super team to win a title. Where did the ‘I wanna beat the best not team up with them’ attitude go? When you have guys like KD saying Lebron “paved the way” for him to go to GSW you gotta give OP some credence.

Rings rings rings, you gotta get rings if you wanna be like Mike.

Now players are focused on getting rings and people are complaining.

I don't know what people thought would happen when the fans and media made rings the standard by which you measure a player.

Yea, The heat beating OKC is what eventually sent Durant to GSW and the flood gates really opened after that.

NBA would be way different if Lebron doesn’t go to Miami. No doubt
