Corporate sponsored high school sports. They donate, then are allowed to open a restaurant inside the school.

Can I get second breakfast? Or elevenses?

That’s great! The high school my cousin went to in Texas had 4,000 students - might as well have food the kids will eat

All the “baws” that had to move to Texas to find a job miss real sports like we have in Louisiana so they try to make a copy of it

They have high school facilities as nice as McNeese or UL.

This is pretty cool. Any idea of the number of students?
I mean I was lucky at my highschool in the 90’s but it was all home cooked.
My kids have multiple days a week where a place like Chik filet (Friday’s) will come in.

And less kids the school district has to feed.

How is it funded? No state income tax. How much are property taxes?

I can't imagine paying for my kid to eat fast food every day, even if it's "healthy". Better off just meal prepping or making something basic.

Texas and Alabama super 6-7A high schools are legit Juco’s and Community colleges

That’s pretty damn impressive. We toured 5 SEC schools this summer and although on a different scale, looks pretty damn similar.
Most schools have a sports dining hall and study facility…they feed them better than fast food, but still.

6,000 kids spread across 3 HS's, projected to increase by 50% in five years based on housing sales and starts.
Those are more than likely local franchisees for those restaurants, not some faceless national corporation, who have those contracts. I think you could choose better nutrition, but it is what it is.
Most class 4A/5A HS athletics facilities are shared in Texas, so those facilities end up getting a LOT of use when each school fields up to three teams per sport, girls and boys, and some schools have two full marching bands with 300+ kids in each using the stadiums too. Last of all, the big districts now sell the naming rights for their stadiums to local businesses, in addition to selling advertising on their jumbotrons and taking a cut of concessions. The stadiums end up paying for themselves. Just a single band contest weekend can net six figures for the district.
