Who are you to tell these businesses who they can and can’t hire?

No one has said the universities can't hire these individuals they just can't hire them to play football because the governing body has deemed they are no longer eligible.

Who are you to tell someone that aces the MCATS and passes the medical boards that they can't attend medical school or be licensed as a Dr just because they didn't have a BS or go to med school. Same could be said for all professions.

How is NCAA any different than any other professional organizations that establishes eligibility criteria for its profession.

There's a guy somewhere who's been in the NFL a few years, bouncing around from team to team, ready to sue because he only played 3 or 4 years in college.

Get back to me when someone gets in an uproar over this:

Not a single starter on Virginia's 2026 offensive line is under the age of 22, featuring veteran players ranging from fifth-year to seventh-year in college:

- Left Tackle: McKale Boley (5th-year)
- Left Guard: Noah Josey (6th-year)
- Center: Drake Metcalf (7th-year)
- Right Guard: Makilan Thomas (6th-year)
- Right Tackle: Monroe Mills (7th-year)

There was an uproar over this! It's exactly why the NCAA created the new rule because they realized the failure of the old rules created this exact scenario.

They are trying to protect the last bit of sanctity of college athletics by preventing athletes from being able to test the waters in the NFL and arbitrarily comeback to college ball because they got cut from a professional sports.

Well no shite, P4 is the highest level with biggest NIL. Younger guys can go to lower levels with fewer eyes on them. They shouldn’t expect to make P4 rosters right off the bat unless they’re HIM

It’s a drop in the bucket when you consider just how gay college sports have become

We aren't playing victim just defense. Everyone blaming us when there are near 20 current lawsuits and more teams than that doing the same thing. Why are yall so obsessed with us? Seems to me the ones bitching about our foresight are the ones portraying victims.

The post I was responded to said that if Bama did this then everyone would praise it. That literally happened with Bediako and people lost their minds.

Again, LSU isn’t being singled out.you all are just embracing it and crying louder.

I mean, this is what it’s supposed to be. Until a school in Knoxville went all in with collectives and set it off.
