OLine looks like they took bets on the sideline to see which one could get him knocked out the game.

My only contention to your OP was saying he was top 12/half - how you phrased it prior to edit.

But this team is terrible. Daboll was brought in to help Jones and they look horrible. It's Jones scrambling for his life.

They need to take him out down 24-3.

He only took 10 sacks.

You'd think they'd roll him out or design runs for him. But nah, frick that, he'll figure it out!

If they are going to keep blitzing heavily, the idea is normally to run some screen passes to let someone get past a lot of defenders.

Then again, this requires there to be at least one competent WR to make them pay.

He's getting paid like he does.

The saints would be undefeated with him right now.

As a Giants fan, don't feel bad for him. He hasn't showcased much in FIVE years, with one playoff win. He gets no help, but he also makes horrendous passes when the pocket holds up fairly well, like on his two picks yesterday. The pick six was critical and squashed our hopes of winning.

He's been mediocre to poor for so long, he is not the guy, whether we have an offensive line or not.

I mean he’s a starter quality NFL QB

What does that mean really?

15th in NFL last season in total passing yards
21st in TD passes
limited INTs for sure - this is really good only had 5 last year
Took 5th most sacks
Avg. per completion is less than 7 yards, good for 25th

That screams below average starter. It's not that he's bad or shouldn't be a starting QB, but he's not fringe top 10 either. He's probably 18-20 of starters in the league.

"some" critic of him is warranted, he has skill but makes unforced errors trying to win the game. that isnt a terrible thing, but it can turn into an avalanche of bad that can happen when you have less than 2 seconds to throw it or get sacked.
