Huggins (WV) has to be another “dirty” coach, right?

If I had to bet $1000 bucks on who else was up to some shite like Pitino it would be Huggy.
Thoughts?

They are all dirty. But does he ever get the big name recruits? What makes you assume he, above so many others, is dirty?

12. Bob Huggins – Cincinnati: Huggins was forced out as Bearcats coach in 2005 following a tenure that included a zero percent graduation rate, a two-season probation for “lack of institutional control” and a DUI arrest. His current roster at West Virginia is flirting with the law, too.

I remember he wasn't graduating too many guys at Cincinnati, and took some flak for that.

Sounds like he's got way too many problems elsewhere to worry about paying players too.

He wasn't graduating any because they were going to the NBA. Plus, at the time, Jucos did not count towards graduation rate. May have changed but back then that was the case.

After how he consoled Desean Butler after his injury in the tournament, I kinda don't care.

He's just a hard arse and likes to drink till he falls down. Don't really think he's a dirty recruiter. He doesn't play the AAU game.

His Kansas State year was super dirty. Frank Martin was his head assistant. Dalonte Hill was his second assistant, and they won the Michael Beasley sweepstakes for $200,000.

As long as you aren't doing anything that will get you prison time the NCAA isn't going to do shite nowadays and the coaches know it.

He had OJ Mayo and Bill Walker committed to K State...

I don't take him to be up to Pitino shite. I think he's ok with bringing in guys who are questionable academically and really doesn't give much of a frick in that regard as long as they stay eligible.
He's probably my favorite all out of fricks to give HC.

I was talking more about his time at WV as I'm not too familiar with his KState tenure, only that he was there for a year.
His prison ball style of play and full court press forces him to recruit JUCOs and 2-3 star players. Doubt he's recruiting dirty to do that.

Nah the only thing dirty on Huggy Bear are all of his arteries.

Huggins is the type of guy who won't be ratted on by former players

He doesn’t recruit well enough to put him in that range in my mind.

The guy likes to have a pop or two or three every now and then. That doesn't equate to cheating.
