I'm a 3.2 handicap on the USGA index and I would have to play amazing to break 100 IMO.

Most of the pro's out there are shooting about 5 strokes higher than they would on a normal round, so I would assume mine would be roughly 10-15 strokes higher... I'll say 85-90.

I hit it pretty straight. So I could keep it in the low 80's.. maybe not four days in a row, but For one round yes...

I'm a 9, and with spotters I'd be thrilled if I could post a 120.

I've never seen Merion much less played it but I did play Pinehurst #2 a couple times last Summer. I know they will toughen it up next year but I honestly can't see #2 being as tough as Merion.

If I had spotters for the rough on each hole, 95-100. Without spotters, 120+.

I'm about a 6 or 7 handicap.

ETA:

6.3, just looked.

Spotters are HUGE. The pros wouldn't break 80 without spotters for that rough.

FTR, I played Pebble Beach from the tips when I was about a 3 handicap and I played VERY good. Drained a few LONG bogie and par putts.

I shot an 82.

I'd probably end at -7.

My goal would be to break 120 so I would probably be in that range... I feel like I could get it under that (with spotters)

Dude shooting low 80's... why is your name not on the leaderboard? Did you miss the cut, or you haven't teed off yet?

I would jizz my pants and have the time of my life if I broke a hundred.

It would be equal to me shooting a par round anywhere.

F€#K I need to play some golf.

"For anyone that has played Letriomphe a 4 would barely break 90 there when the web.com plays there. "

I am a 5 and a member at Letriomphe and have played the course the day after using the same conditions an the course is much harder than normal. I did shoot 88 but I play there every week.
