I know the season has just started but the astros have disappointed early on and pitching has been a problem. They have 8 guys who are free agents which will take about $53 million off the books, some of the key free agents are rasmus, gomez, feldman and fister. Which of those guys would you re-sign and for what kind of aav and what free agents would you target? Obviously they still have a couple of years before they have to lock down Springer, Correa, Altuve, etc

Starting pitching

/end thread

But seriously. This thread is the equivalent of talking NFL Draft after your team lost game 1

Not really... but probably. It all depends on what he wants. The guy currently hitting .280 and getting on-base better than 40% isn't who Rasmus really is.

The only player I'd want to resign is Rasmus to be honest, as long as the price is right.

Are we really talking about the offseason 13 games in and 2 games out of first place?

IMO they should wait longer than 13 games before planning all the moves for next offseason

I don't disagree that starting pitching needs to get better but, come on..we are 13 games into a 162 game season. No need to act like the sky is falling and everyone needs to go.

That's why the Texans released Brian Hoyer. We've got him down in extended spring training as we speak.
