We’ll enlighten me then. If they have a $30 billion endowment and 45% of the Texas system endowment has to go to UT then I assumed they receive about $150 million recurring from the AUF each year, probably more. That’s enough to replace the donors to the University that might walk from a football team. They will not lose all donors to the university.

Players walked off the field when it played last week and donors are pissed.

They ought to tell every one of those sorry MFers to pound sand. They're getting a free education as well as other perks to get their asses kicked. I'd cut every one of those bastards that walked off.

You’d have trouble replacing them if other schools are not doing the same thing. Kind of like you kept your running back when he said he wouldn’t play if the state flag wasn’t changed in MS.

Everything, everything that can be associated with the old South is being cancelled.

First, the endowment is for education not athletics. The AD side is completely independent and self-supporting. Losing athletic donors would hurt and AD donors often cross over and gift the University.

Second, $150 million is not as much as you think when we're talking about UT's budget. It helps, a little, but it's a drop in the bucket. The operating budget at UT is over $3 billion a year. That's just operating. We're not even talking about their capital budget.

Well, they do finance the program, without which none of these kids are getting their free ride.

frick them I was so happy seeing the group of braves fans doing the chop.

Democrats literally want to erase them from history because of their guilt signing the Indian removal.
