If true gonna be a cluster frick as some teams only have a few district games. That would mean 4 regular season games if they don’t push back the season

I agree, I don’t see what’s wrong with letting it be a personally choice. Heaven forbid people are accountable for their own decisions

I mean, we’re talking about high school kids, they probably shouldn’t be allowed to make important decisions.

This is list of updated LHSAA football season dates sent to member schools in a memo. An Oct. 8 date is listed for the season start with many other items, including playoffs listed as TBD @AdvocateSports

“Nothing quite official yet from the LHSAA but we're looking at an Oct. 8 start for football.

Also, volleyball to be pushed back a week (Sept. 8), while swimming and cross country would start on time. #cenlapreps”

I think the coaches at area high schools raid their equipment rooms and get the Equipment and uniforms. Then go out and create independent leagues that closely mimic their LHSAA districts.

Such bullshite. All they will do is push back the date again until the season is cancelled. What are these kids supposed to do for the next two months? Guessing the transfers going out of state will start soon.

We’ve already had a dozen schools have to shut down for a few weeks here in Georgia. We pushed the games back 2 weeks but it’s not looking good so far.

“Eddie Bonine in a Zoom meeting with Louisiana media confirms the Prep Football Season is moving back to an October 9th start. He says they'll start with week three of the season, and end with the championship games as is, in December.”

“Bonine .. said if he sees decline of cases in 10 to 14 days in Phase 3 .. can start collisions .... October 2nd or 3rd .. Jamboree .. #wgnosports”

That will be a very tough standard to meet

“Difference between contact and collision”

-Eddie Bonine

Phase 3 calls for no collision but full gear (pads/helmets”

I am reading that as a better sign for basketball and soccer

There’s a number of California recruits that moved to Colorado this summer in hopes of having a Senior season.
