Brian Dawkins

Fred Taylor

Champ Bailey doesn't belong IMO
He's been a top 5 cornerback each year of the last decade. He's a HOFer.

Ward had a nice little 4 year run when Pitt went all pass happy... Dude had 94,112,95, and 80 catches over those 4 years along with 30 touchdowns

The only locks are Manning and Brady, IMO.

Two of those years are:
94 catches, 1003 yards, 4 TDs
80 catches, 1004 yards, 4 TDs
That's 5 catches and 63 yards a game. If you are talking HOF, that isn't great.

yeah, he's not a "lock" by any means, but he should definitely get in one day. think he's right near the top10 all-time nfl rushers (in yardage), ahead of guys like john riggins, oj simpson, earl campbell, etc

Tony Gonzalez is a lock. He will have every TE receiving record when he hangs it up. 11 Pro Bowls and 5 times All Pro makes him a no doubt about it guy.

When big ben wins this ring he will be a lock

He's not a lock. He "raped" a chick AND they won the first title IN SPITE OF HIM. At least Brady was half way decent in his first Super Bowl.

Quit hatin' bro. When Ben wins this SB, he will be a lock.

How many current players are first ballot locks?
Posted on 1/24/11 at 1:23 am to tduecen
He just retired last year (so have many other mentioned in the thread), but Walter Jones is a lock. Probably a 1st ballot when he's eligible.

Mawe has a chance. I'd say Ed Reed, Ray Lewis, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, LT, Tony Gonzales, Randy Moss, Jeff Saturday, Steve Huchinson (?), and if Isaac Bruce hadn't retired THIS YEAR, him.
