It really sucks to have your franchise player quit on your team and demand to be traded to basically the biggest market team that always gets all the good players.

So pretty mad and I think everyone else would be too. It’s not something to really enjoy unless you are a legit laker fan or psychopath

how happy can a bandwagon Louisiana Lakers fan be over a championship most of the country has tuned out on?

I could see a real fan still being happy about it. Just not a bandwagoner living in Louisiana, is the extent of your celebrating gloating on the internet? That's fun.

C on Z and Mr P are going to meet up under the high school bleachers and get stoned after they win this series. Truly an incredible time to be a Louisiana Lakers fan.

Wasn't going to win a title in New Orleans anyway. We weren't getting Lebron. He wouldn't win it in LA without Lebron.

Not sure what there is to be mad about.

They should be mad at Dell Demps and the franchise as a whole. They squandered the gift they were given with AD.

How dare Dell draft and trade for all those players that got significantly injured. The nerve!

Nothing to be mad about. AD never pulls his moves and we are still stuck with demps and likely gentry and we don't get Ingram and almost certainly don't get zion.

He was never going to bring us to the promised land anyway so it worked out for us.

What exactly is a Mount Rushmore franchise? Assuming it’s 4 teams you’ve got Boston and lakers then who?

San Antonio kept Duncan around. The heat signed the big three, the warriors got everyone they drafted to sign extensions. The nets just signed of and Kyrie. The clippers arguable one of the worst teams in history of the nba just got Kawhi and Paul George. I think being a “Mount Rushmore” team is as insignificant now as ever. If you have enough talent on your roster people won’t want to leave

Signed. Signed. Signed.

Not retained. or resigned.

Your examples are literally teams that signed guys AWAY from their original teams....so the opposite of your point haha.

Also Miami Beach, San Fransisco, Los Angeles, New York.

ok dude. lol

People from the US Virgin Islands are American citizens. Do you think Tua is a foreigner too?

If you only want to count mainland US players Dame and Bradley Beal have both said they never want to leave Portland and Washington.

Never really understood this take in regards to those two sports.

A Pelicans fan since birth would 18 years old at the oldest and life long fan of Louisiana major league baseball doesn't exist.

USVI is not culturally that American, which is the point.

also....What are we arguing here lol?

Are you saying that there isnt a culture in the NBA that works against smaller market teams? Players dont care about franchises or building a team. They just dont, and thats the facts.

What the frick does Bradley Beal have to do with this? If he is going to stay in Washington, one of the worst run NBA franchises of all time, then hes some bizarre outlier that doesnt have to do with anything.

The Pels didnt get one of those dudes. They got a bitch arse Davis. He was never going to stay here.
