How good is Etienne really?

Is he first round draft pick good?
Seems like he tears up bad competition and gets shut down by good competition.

Better than any RB taken the last few years

Notre Dame is focusing solely on him. Kid is a baller, should have left after last year.

He got lit up last weekend by a safety from BC and then shite the bed for a few plays. Still doesn’t seem to be all the way back from that hit.

I don’t know why in the world he came back

RBs aren’t really game changers in the NFL anymore.
But he will make an NFL team very happy if he goes to a competently run offensive scheme with a good QB.

Yeah that hit was vicious.

Early mid 2nd round maybe late 1st depending on need.
He’s great but should have left as he’s got a lot of miles before even playing an NFL down and had nothing else to prove with the RB position being more and more expendable.

Clemson O-Line isn’t as good this year as he’s had in the past. It’s been difficult for him to get yardage without sending him to the edges or by passing him the ball. If he goes to a team with O-Line talent he’ll be amazing. He’s better off going lower in the draft.

He's no Todd Gurley, but he's good.

Alvin Kamara is carrying the Saints offense..

Hard to say, he’s had an elite offensive line blocking for him every year of college. We know he’s fast and shifty, I think he goes second round

The exception, not the rule. CMC is at least equal when healthy but has done nothing to change Carolina because their QBing hasn’t been good enough no matter how good he is.

Dalvin Cook and Derrick Henry are also elite and carry their offenses on a regular basis.
The whole “shite on RBs and don’t pay them” narrative was a thing 5 years ago. It’s not a universal law, its always situational.

I meant to to say “taken high”.
I like him better than any RB taken in the 1st or 2nd round recently.
