The fact that the ball is coming from the complete opposite angle is the main reason you can't hit it. It's a completely different swing. Trying to hit a softball the same as a baseball will not do the same thing as hitting a baseball.

Hell I'm usually on the side that women can not really compete with men in anything (an above average HS team could beat Baylor/UConn women's team). But I understand how hard it would be to hit a 65+ MPH pitch from that short of distance with crazy movement.

I have a 12 yo pitcher on my team that throws 56 mph from 40 feet with a lot of movement. I would bet a paycheck she strikes you out.

If they threw from sixty feet, six inches, it would be impossible for a softball girl to strike me out.

It was an all star game for fun. She was lobbing it underhand serving up Homerun balls to everyone including the non athlete celebs

I played college baseball and batted against some of the softball pitchers for shits and giggles and that shite is harder by far
