they really need to back up the mound and the bases 5 ft to make softball WAY more interesting.
Been saying the same for years. Or they could pitch Emily Turner every game. Used to love the centerfield camera shot when she was pitching. I'd watch every pitch.

Serious as a heart attack. I'm talking about women's collegiate softball to be specific. I think I could easily step in the box against a solid d1 female pitcher and rock one
I'd give you a 10% chance

How do you not score more goals in soccer? Those goals are so big, i would venture to say i could make a goal atleast every 15 minutes or so

I think it would be difficult to drag bunt a softball against LSU pitching. Like the OP said, the reaction time to swing in on line with a major league baseball RT. It is not about velocity but how quick you can recognize the ball and then determine where to swing to make contact.

LOL I feel ya man and I agree. if you're in relatively decent shape and put in a little bit of practice then you should be able to hit a softball every time. It's easy as hell.
don't let these "P90X" athletes / "ESPN couch coaches" tell you how hard it is to do because it makes them feel better about themselves when they strike out in their men's softball league.

Actually, it is harder to hit a softball pitch.
Yea, of all the stupidity in this thread, this takes the cake.

This has got to be a troll thread.

I'm confident in my overall athletic abilities so I don't need a bunch of losers on here to tell me what I can and can't do
Posted on 4/21/13 at 2:34 pm to snake23
Half the guys I know have stuck out at some point in slow pitch softball.

Snake & weebie are two of the biggest trolls on these boards. C'mon guys don't feed em

Don't let them get you down snake. The only people who are going to argue that hitting a softball is hard is either going to be a female or like I said ... A "P90X athlete" or "ESPN couch coach" who likely plays in a men's league full of former coach's pitch baseball stars.
