Because I’m not going to hold your hand and walk you through your stupidity. When they start trading away assets and cutting valuable players, I would call you out then but you’d just crawfish it away saying “well if they had done my plan that isn’t based in reality” or some other such nonsense because you have no ability to admit when you are wrong.

i literally listed a bunch of guys who are likely going to get cut

that's not the question

you said this

quote:

You are also counting on Pro Bowl/all pro players to take less money

where did i say that?

i do and i never said players would have to take less money

i even listed a bunch of guys with huge base salaries

you take base salaries and convert them to bonuses. they get the same money but you restructure when that money affects the cap

so, for an easy example, you take a $10M salary and convert $8M of that to a signing bonus (they actually get their money faster so they get more money with TVM) and extend the deal so that $8M hits for only the pro-rated portion

how is the player taking less money?

Luckily their agents aren’t as dumb as you believe we are.

oh shite you mean if they have to cut stalwarts like Cam Jordan or Armstead you're going to say i was wrong?!?!?!?!?

oh wait, i said this on page 2:

quote:

we may have to make some business decisions with good players (like Armstead, Jordan)

what you're going to do is be the dumb-smart troll guy and redefine what vague terms mean, like "rebuild", so when we cut some guys, you'll claim you were right. you will do this after i literally just proved that your alleged standards/definitions are complete fabrications

you didn't even have the balls to admit you made up your comments claiming i said guys would have to take paycuts. pussy

So cutting your multiple Pro Bowl/former All-Pro LT and your Pro Bowl DE who is at worst the second best player on your defense are routine moves for team’s who aren’t rebuilding.

You’re so smart you can’t even read the writing on the wall. Here, let me give you a visual instead:

we have drafted very well and invested heavily in the OL and DL, so no

*ETA: i'm not claiming we're in the Super Bowl hunt, unless we can keep Jameis somehow. i expect we'll roll with shitty Hill for a year and go 8-8 and then have enough cap room to get the next vet QB who gets cut. could be stafford or dak

Armstead may have just had his best season.

he has had more than his share of injury bugaboos.

I mean look they were wrong on Andrus Peat but I think its more of him being oft injured too. Peat isn't terrible but a guy like him needs to restructure.

Moving on from veteran wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders frees up an additional $6.5 million,

i'll tell you what though, at least he was getting open last night unlike some superstar I know of that wasn't.

the DB #24 for the bucs guarding Sanders was using bad technique something that I'm sure the Packers will tee off on.

Sanders is a great fit for the Saints offense. Cutting him is risky but I get it given his age.

quote:

Janoris Jenkins, with a $14.2 million cap hold, can net us $10 million more as a post-June 1 release

This I could see. He's been a playmaker in his career but he's starting to get up there in age.

quote:

and fellow corner Patrick Robinson gets us $2.6 million more.

didn't play last night. When he did play though he was getting it done.

that's the thing. we've also invested so much in the OL that it makes it the smart choice. it sucks but we probably need to move on

Cam Jordan will definitely hurt more. he looks like he fell off a cliff this year

As I type this, the Saints are re-signing Lattimore, Ram, and Williams away from being under the cap

:coco2:
