I hate the Titans because they hold the Houston Oilers name and records. No one in Tennessee gives a damn about the OIlers.

It’s a shame they can’t arrange something like with the Hornets name going back to Charlotte in the NBA.

Although I think the Pelicans franchise still claims all the history right?

Weren't they the Tennessee Oilers for a year when in Memphis?

Easy. There are plenty of reasons. The current owner’s late dad demanded the Astrodome be reconfigured for more football seating or he was going to move the Oilers, and ended up moving them 8 years after the renovations were done. The old Astrodome scoreboard was removed for the football seating and it destroyed the character of the place. I hope he’s burning in hell.

I hate their logo. I hate their uniforms. And the NFL has too many teams. Should cut back to at least 28, maybe 26. Titans would be one of the teams I’d cut.

Is that enough of an explanation for you?

It’s really easy to hate a team owned by the Adams

You were saying? Lots of game left.

Titans might be the most irrelevant franchise in the NFL

So irrelevant the NFL decided to put the draft in Nashville last year. Man was it a resounding failure too.

And there was no reaction when the Titans or any of their division foes made picks

Because they took the greatest logo name and color combo in sports and locked it away in a closet

The Titans are one of those teams it's hard for me to imagine anyone being emotional about.

I grew up outside Nashville and was 8 years old when the Oilers played their first season in Memphis. Eddie George quickly became my favorite player and I was thrilled when the team settled in Nashville. Very easy for a young kid like myself to fall in love with the Titans. Especially back then.

It’s been more shitty than fun to be a Titans fan, but I genuinely care for the franchise and their losses suck just as much as when South Carolina loses, which I admit is odd.

I don’t understand how folks can wholeheartedly love the Jags or Panthers, but I’m sure there are people just like me with those teams.

Same here. I was 12 when they moved. I remember Mike Keith on the radio in Knoxville before he got the Titans gig.

Its been rough lately for sure. It certainly feels like we've been irrelevant for the last decade. Haven't had a 10 win season since '08. Have a chance this year and it still may not be enough to get in.
