So what if it was close, they won, no one would argue the ACC overall is better. The OP is arguing the B1G is bad and Penn St is overrated because they won a close game on the road against a ranked team

But the thing is UGA didn’t lose to them. They lost to the team that lost to them in week 1. Not quite the same thing.
The ACC definitely sucks but my point was not putting the ACC down. His main argument of the rebuttal was the SEC can’t talk because UGA lost to the team that lost to this supposedly shitty ACC team. Either that team isn’t as bad as thought because Clemson struggled to beat them or Clemson isn’t as good as thought because they struggled to beat this bad team.

He wasn’t arguing for Clemson or the ACC. The OP said the B1G is garbage, which by any objective measure is plainly false, part of the OPs argument is Penn St is overrated because they they beat a ranked team on the road by 5
the Clemson guy was pointing out the #2 SEC team(based on the rankings) lost to a bad SEC team (at home no less) that lost to a bad ACC team which is all true.
That Clemson struggled with UNC is irrelevant

He was pretty much saying that a fan of an SEC team can’t talk because UGA lost to USC which lost to UNC in week 1. By his own logic how does an ACC team’s fan have room to talk? A Clemson fan doesn’t have much more room to talk if they struggled to beat that supposedly shitty team. Again it means UNC isn’t as shitty as thought or Clemson is worse then thought based on the one game logic.

I didn't get to watch it but damn, Nebraska getting run by Minnesota is kinda funny. Especially when you think about how many people piled on them to win the division based on absolutely nothing.

He was essentially saying SEC fans can’t talk (“Don’t know why you are barking up this tree after the SEC”) because of what happened. By his own logic he can’t talk either.

It is exactly as you clearly stated. I did not hold up the ACC as a great conference, or say that the SEC was garbage. Going into this weekend UGA was held up as the second best team in the SEC. That was a terrible loss to a bad USC team by any objective measure. The revisionist history to all of the sudden make USC something close to a top 25 team is comical.
Take off the SEC glasses. Penn State, Ohio State and Wisconsin are great teams that could give top tier SEC teams a run for their money - especially Ohio State and Penn State - elite talent on both lines of scrimmage. And they have some quality teams across the conference that are every bit as good as the mid tier SEC teams.
PS I still think UGA is capable of winning it all if they start acting like a team that doesn't deserve a spot just because they are UGA and they have assembled a ton of talent. Bama is vulnerable and LSU and UGA are capable of beating them.
