Imagine having this dude’s life. I can’t decide if having 7000 posts like this is funny or pathetic

They're the 2nd best p5 conference. Big 12 has an argument at being 2nd best but the acc and pac 12 are garbage.

OSU is better than Bama and LSU and would beat both by 20!

Come on man. The SEC has some of the hardest places to play in the country. It wouldn’t be anything they don’t see on a weekly basis with games in Tuscaloosa, Auburn, Baton Rouge, Gainesville, Athens...
Who are the truly intimidating Big 10 venues? Ohio State and Penn State?

Yeah... don’t count Camp Randall or Kinnick.

what's wrong with Penn St, Ohio St, Wisconsin then second tier Iowa, Michigan and third tier Minnesota?
It's hard for me to put Penn State in the same category as Wisconsin and Ohio State. Ohio State has dominated everyone and Wisconsin has dominated everyone except Northwestern. Wisconsin also has 4 shutouts which are incredibly impressive. Penn State has beat up on bad teams, but their games against Iowa and Pitt are not that impressive.

I agree that Penn State may not be in the same category as Ohio State and Wisconsin, but I don't think you need to knock them for going into a very, very difficult environment and beating a Top-25 team.

Mountain West > SEC

You're right I shouldn't be knocking them that hard about that. I was just trying to point out that right now they don't belong in the same tier as Ohio State and Wisconsin.

Big Ten is tremendous this year. Four undefeated top 25 teams in mid October. This is a ridiculous thread.

Doesn’t make the sentence any less stupid.

You don’t have to be intimidating to be tough venue.
You keep forgetting about weather.

Love to see them in the at the camp or kinnick in late Nov. lol

What about it? It’s grossly overrated as a factor but in the context aren’t they talking about tough venues within the conference? Surely you are not suggesting Penn St would have trouble with the weather at Iowa

Not particularly was it a Bowl against Wisconsin a couple years ago? I would think Miami not being very good was a bigger factor. Also they aren’t in the SEC

No. Try paying attention. We are discussing sec teams at kinnick.

No one was asking you.

Doesn’t remember. Makes a comment. World class dumb.
Hint: one team came in ranked 15th, the other in the mid 20s.
Sec: Point
You.

Not a fan of these pissing contests, so to answer the question: It was the 2009 Champs Sports Bowl. Game temperature was ~40 degrees and Miami players wanted no part of it. All had long sleeves and were huddled around heat lamps on the sideline.
