Honestly, none of you are considering the enormous weight that comes with deciding someone's life. If Meyer had fired his assistant over allegations, unproven. He alters the assistants life completely. That's a tough decision to make.

As much as I like Urban going down in no way do I believe he would risk his position to save this dudes job. He just mis lead himself thinking it would all play out.

Is that why he lied?

If he doesn't lie this goes away unless the assistant really takes everyone down.

It's not a decision he had to make. He just had to report it to HR. In all likelihood they let it go and he seeks counseling since the victim wasn't a student (the main concern for Title IX).

He would go Petrino and be successful at a mid level school.

Youngstown State had a pretty big dip last year. Just saying.

Umm yeah at a desperate school like Louisville to hire Petrino back.

Well, they waited until after Western Kentucky hired him for a year first. He also didn't coach the season after the "incident" before Western hired him.

I think at Utah he could drill some folks in the PAC 12 and end up a thorn in everyone’s side once again. Pretty damn nice state and Mormons are pretty nice folks all in all if you like really white people Lol

He will take the fall off.

Then he will spend a year as an analyst somewhere.

Then he will spend a couple of years as a HC of a group of five team.

Then he will get a major HC job.

The only think he may tainted with is, you probably won't see him as a media member anytime soon. ESPN and the like aren't going to want to touch him.

But he will say he's sorry, take some time off, and be back before you know it.
