My driver puts par 4 greens into play pretty regularly, so I require a whole other set of calculations.

This is mortal math.

For the right $$, Lloyd's will insure anything.

I know companies won't insure a hole in one contest that's less than 150 yards.

False.

They will insure anything. The premium would be prohibitively expensive for the course, though...

yeah but thats not saying just competitive rounds. Im sure tour players get hole in ones a lot

I think you'd be surprised. I'd bet there is a healthy percentage of pros who have never made one.

John Peterson made his first hole in one of his life last year at the US Open at 23 years old. He probably wasn't the only pro without one.

He did say first one ever. Ill leave that up for interpretation. But even so one guy without his tour card that is 23 isn't exactly a reflection of the 125.

There are plenty of pros younger than 23. I'd guess like 5-10% have never made one. I'd consider that a healthy amount considering that's what they do for a living.

And it wasnt Peterson that said that. It was his sister.

Again. If you polled the 125 Id bet 120 have had one.

How do you figure once a year? If they play 30 tournaments, making the cut in all of them and play 2 practice rounds, that's only 180 rounds in competition. Where and when do you figure they're playing the other 570 rounds?
