It's crazy that West Monroe were the doormats in that district back then.

My sister was one of y’all’s cheerleaders!

Woodlawn in the late 90s. Most of us were busy trying to party and get with girls. We did end up winning a playoff game my senior year.

Yes, for the most part.

Saline, MI high school

Better playoff success and D1 talent since 2012 (a few years after I left) with a new coach. We were fairly solid when I played but not elite.

Didn’t realize that. Weird not seeing Harrison, Mceachern, north cobb and others on the schedule.

Baker High School. I think we won 2 games my whole time I was there. We were a baseball school. They are much better now. I think we're the second largest school in Alabama, behind Hoover.

Bogalusa - ups and downs.

A few years before I attended the Lumberjacks won the AA (then the highest classification). My senior year they were 0-9-1, and then a few years later won the AAA crown (then the highest classification).

Destrehan High School late 90’s same class as Ed Reed. Produced The Jefferson’s, Rondell Mealey, Mike Scifres, John Emery, Landon Marceaux. Won a few state titles and makes it to state or the semifinals just about every year.

Carroll High School
Monroe, La

1 state title … could be a lot more but for the last 50 years Neville has ignored recruiting rules and school zoning regulations or created new ones … to take all the good football players

Yep… my alma mater (Carroll) used to schedule them for homecoming… WM first state championship season (1993) … Carroll beat them 26-23 on homecoming night… I was there still remember Larry Wright taking a kickoff back … Carroll ended up losing in the semifinals to Haynesville 12-7

My alma mater hasn’t won a game since 2018 and hasn’t made the playoffs since 2006. Just got blown out in the season opener on Friday, so this season isn’t looking promising at all.

Private school in DFW with around 100 HS students.
School’s first football season was 1995. I played ‘99 thru ‘02. Made the playoffs soph, jr, sr years. After I left they won a state title in ‘07 and made 2 other finals appearances. They’ve had a few kids play D1 but no one noteworthy. Our coach retired in ‘16 and I don’t think they’ve made the playoffs since.

That's when ya'll started recruiting out of town players to move in the district.

Over in Ruston we played by the rules
