I think Wiggins is eventually going to turn into a beast in the NBA, his ceiling is off the charts. But I do think Jabari Parker has a more productive Freshman year next season.

He is scheduling a fifth visit, possibly to Ohio State. Thad Matta has been on him like white on rice.

He's good but I still think Parker is better. Also isn't it an FSU vs UK battle?

UNC is making a late push

parker may be better next year in college but this kid has the higher ceiling

I think Parker ceiling is a bigger but slower Grant Hill. Wiggins is a Dominque Wilkins/Vince Carter

Tulane football commit Ade Aruna shut him down a little over a week ago. Wiggins was 3-8 for 11 pts against him.

While I don't know the kid, or even seen anything on him other than this video, out of all the highlights in it, he went left twice.
Once he went left and finished with a dunk on the right side. other time he went left and hit a jumper from the elbow.
All the highlights were him going right, spinning left and finishing with his right. Not one finish with his left hand.

Just an observation from a small sample size. He's still an extremely quick jumper with some serious hops and a pretty good looking jump shot and has the potential to play well in the NBA, if he wants to.

after watching that video, it's obvious that his ball handling is obviously his biggest issue

that's usually one of the easier skills to develop, and it's often improved upon b/c guys like wiggins want to drive, and a good handle is required. they have the incentive to develop an easily-developed skill...and...voila

His highlights remind me of Harrison Barnes coming out of high school, but with a bit more noticeable athleticism that jumps out at you.

Kid has a super high ceiling. Imagine if Cleveland continues to suck and they get this kid to pair up with Kyrie in the backcourt. Would be a fun team to watch

Excuse my ignorance on the subject, but this is the kid who recently reclassified into the 2013 class, correct?

from what i've seen of parker, he doesnt play above the rim enough

he's got a more refined floor game and is bigger, so he'll be productive, but i dont see him playing above the rim regularly like wiggins

yeah, i noticed he mis-dribbled a few times, too

that can be overcome with repetition, though

I know you're a Cavs fan, and you're probably joking with the post, but do fans in Cleveland sincerely believe he will return? I think the fans pretty much burned that bridge

Ohio State? Where did you hear that? He's going to FSU, Kentucky, or UNC

Yeah, I always here about the Florida State connection too, but as Kosmo stated, he making a fifth visit and Matta has been all over him. He was just up in Canton last weekend at the Dunk for Diabetes Tournament run by my cousin.

It will be tough to lure him away from Kentucky and Florida State, but I can still hope though.
