The majority of players will insist they’re fine and insist on playing. They’re the ultimate competitors and a headache isn’t going to keep them out.

It’s the job of the medical professionals to assess injuries and make judgments.

Wasn’t there a thread yesterday about the NFL needing to switch back to grass? This is why, stop playing on concrete, the NFL doesn’t give a shite about players.

You’re blaming the guy with brain damage for making the wrong decision?

And you know Joe Burrow would do the same goddamned thing. Put your LSU pom poms away for a second, and have some common decency.

Some adult on the Dolphins, if any exist, should have stepped in last week to save Tua from himself.

That is about knee injuries. He didn’t get a concussion bc it’s a turf field instead of grass

I mean if he passed protocol during the week then he was eligible to play.... now if he failed or they didn't give it to him then I agree

Tua also needs to learn to throw the ball away a lot quicker

So the NFL is going to blame their own observers? Or did you leave that part out on purpose to make an irrelevant point

He's a like a boxer that's lost his chin. A simple tap will concuss the guy. I think this could be a career-ending issue for Tua.

That’s exactly why he just had the injury he did

Except Minkah Fitzpatrick… literally the same situation, but he was smart enough to admit that he had a concussion.

The announcing crew literally ran a puff piece on the Dolphins new wunder-coach a few minutes before Tua got hurt on how he is the one that is different, that he really cares about the success of his players. The puff piece was the coach talking to Tua from the plane after he got the job telling about he will be the one to make him the best he can be. He then sends him out to get slaughtered when they knew he was hurt.

My point in saying this is I suspect Tua was never put in protocol because he came back extremely quickly after leaving the game last week. And the injury was suspected it was his head, not his back as he has claimed all week.

For that matter, I'm suspicious of LSU's Jayden Daniels hitting his head on the ground last week and leaving the game and the official word was a back injury.
