just ask the philadelphia eagles how much talent and dominant coaching they have had over the past decade, then have them show you their trophy case. (DaGarun has a great picture of it).

Cowboys fans should take this as a compliment...it's kinda like being the bad guy in wrasslin', the more boos you get the better job you're doing.

Meh......my psychotherapist has a lot more to deal with outside of my sports leanings, trust me.

I do think that there are a lot of people who pull for the historical champions so they can brag they support a winner. Others pull against them.

I am a lifelong LSU and Saints fan. But it's also fun having teams that you pull against when your team's not playing. Makes the season a lot more interesting.

This is true. but the bad guys in wrasslin' INTEND to be offensive. You don't see that on this board for the most part, yet we get to take the heat for the true jackasses. It is what it is, I guess...

The hatred of the Cowboys can be attributed to 3 things.

1. NFL Films calling them America's Team

2. Tex Schramm using "the computer" to draft his players

3. People hate winners that are not from their "fandom" and the Cowboys won when most people on this site were in Grade School or Junior High

People hate the Cowboys because people hate their fans, and people hate their fans for the same reason that people hate Texans.

Disgusting arrogance.

I never understood it. I'm not a Dallas fan or anything but why should they be hated more or less than any other team?

Good question. I don't give a rat's arse about the Cowboys, and I'm a lifelong Saints fan. However, the more some Saints fans rant about the Cowboys, they begin to sound like they have an inferiority complex. Sort of like the constant complaints that ESPN hates the Saints and LSU. Blah, blah.

Legit complaint, but still doesn't explain the overall obsession around here.

Growing up a Cowboys fan in La isn't easy. At all. Even in western La. Shreveport is the only city that I'd say root for the Cowboys harder than the Saints. Everywhere else you are pretty much considered a trader.

Shoulda grown up in the 70s-80s before FOX came along. Both Saints AND Cowboys every week in Lake Charles... it was sweet!

In the 60's, 70's & 80's KSLA broadcast the Cowboys games because their broadcast coverage range encompassed more square miles in TX (as far west as Sulpher Springs, south to Palestine & Lufkin) than La.
